DES GOALS FOR FY 2008
- Update the P.L 93-638 Guide (Redbook) to incorporate lessons learned.
- Publish the Direct Federal Construction Handbook
- Implement the standardized Division I specification
- Implement LEED design principles for the Kayenta HC project
- Add leasing and HSP content to the DES web site
- Revise project description format on web page
- Complete joint training session for PM/CO certifications
- Complete the national P.L. 93-638 construction training session
- Complete VPN installations for all critical staff to enable work at home during COOP Plan implementation scenarios.
- Install new servers
- Upgrade to Expedition v.11 (Depends on functions being replaced in UFMS)
- Develop in-house expertise in energy modeling in both offices
- Develop in-house expertise in HSP development, implementation, & execution.
- Fill four staff positions (3 in Dallas and 1 in Seattle)
- Refine UFMS reports and utilizefor projects
- Identify beneficial changes to UFMS
